Yesterday we flew back to Bangkok with Bangkok Air, after saying goodbye to everyone and our pool. Att arrival we ordered limousine service as our 100 kg luggage did not fit in one taxi. However, the limousine service tried to cheat on us and wanted 200 Baht extra as the promised limousine was not available. It all ended with my father yelling at the manager and getting a refund. We came to Soi Kasemsan in two taxis.
Then we had a fantastic dinner with a japanese buffe at Oishi. There must have been at least 1000 different dishes. There was also a Teppanyaki table for cooking the food.
Bangkok is shoppers paradise with humungus shoppingmalls and several to choose from (bargains and luxury). Today we walked through 4 of them. We stopped particularly at Siam Center where there are Thai designers.

Our goal today was to buy birthday presents for Victor (he will be one on Thursday!). However, we got home 6 hours, 5 pairs of shorts (!), 3 mens underwear, 2 skirts, 1 shirt, 1 pair of childrens pants, 2 beach bags and Victors presents.. Lennart is now an expert on the short business here on Chaweng at the moment, so if there is anyone who needs a pair of good copies just let us know! Oscar and Victor managed the hot day very well or as Oscar said: " There is suuuper much to see here". Yesterday, we went to the fish market on Bang Rak beach. On display was everything from sharks to eel (live) and Red Snapper. They also sold meat and lots of vegetables and fruits for good prices. We bought tasty mangos and carrots. |
